GEM Merchandising Ltd was established in 2002. The number of new Clients’ grew quickly as did the need to employ more merchandisers. Over 50 full-time and part-time merchandisers now call on circa 1500 outlets on a regular basis nationwide.
As our client’s requirements grew, it was necessary to invest in a fleet of vans to enable our merchandisers to carry all the equipment and POS required to fulfil their duties.
In 2008 GEM relocated to new purpose-built office and warehouse facilities in Sittingbourne, Kent to provide a fully outsourced distribution service.
In order to maintain our rapid growth, GEM diversified into new markets in 2010 and entered the Garden Centre Arena which have proved a success for both GEM and our Clients.
GEM can provide experienced personnel to carry out many other specialist services.
We continually look to ways of staying competitive and embrace new technology. We took a bold step in 2019 to invest in a bespoke reporting, data capture analysis system, Bee-Vizible which gives our customers real time access to their reports and images and enables the retailers to audit and to better understand their store footage’s and equipment requirements.
